Vex 7 tips and strategy
- Restart the moment a run goes wrong. Recovering a bad position costs more time than restarting.
- Learn each level's checkpoint rhythm. Most Vex levels are three or four small sequences stitched together.
- Wall jumps have a small input window. Press jump slightly after touching the wall, not before.
- Saw blades and spikes often have a safe spot directly beneath them. Read the geometry before you move.
- Time trials punish hesitation more than mistakes. Once you know a level, play it at full speed.
About Vex 7
Each level is a compact obstacle course of spikes, saw blades, moving platforms, collapsing floors and wall-jump sections. There is no combat and no enemies with health bars — every threat is a static trap that kills you on contact, and the challenge is entirely about movement execution.
The series' signature is the death count. You will die hundreds of times, and the level design is tuned so that each death teaches you one specific thing. Levels that feel impossible on attempt three are usually cleared by attempt fifteen.
Alongside the main levels there are time trials and hidden collectibles that unlock cosmetic skins, which gives completionists something to chase after the campaign is done.
